Case Study: From a Hod Carrier to a Lift Company Owner, Danny's Journey
Danny Johnson often recommends Rob’s training to anyone considering a career in lift engineering. When he first joined the course, he was looking for a practical way to enter the industry and gain the knowledge and confidence needed to get started.
After completing the programme around 12/13 years ago, Danny moved straight into employment within the lift trade. His first role was with Axess 2, where he worked on installing platform lifts. That early experience helped him build a strong foundation and prepared him for working on passenger lifts with Hampshire Lift Services.
Over the years Danny continued developing his skills and qualifications, going on to achieve both NVQ Level 2 and NVQ Level 3 in lift engineering. With that experience behind him, he later went on to establish his own business, Resolute Elevators.

Case Study: From Unemployed to Business Owner, Neil’s Transformation
When Neil first joined our training programme, he was unemployed and looking for a way to break into a stable, well-paying industry. With no recent experience and feeling unsure about job interviews, he needed both a skills upgrade and a confidence boost.
Our short training course gave Neil exactly that.

Case Study: From Out of Work to On the Tools, Jack’s Journey Back Into Industry
Jack had always been hands-on, with a solid background installing large plasma screens, aerial systems, and handling complex patch panel video distribution setups. Combined with his earlier college studies in business and leisure, he wasn’t short on experience or versatility. From Low-Paid Jobs to a Skilled Engineering Career. Sean came to us while he was still studying at Uxbridge College. Before starting his engineering training, his background was mostly made up of voluntary roles and general low-paid jobs helping with admin, answering phones, and assisting contractors with manual work like paving, pointing, and curb laying. He even spent some time working at B&Q in a role that offered little excitement or progression.
He knew he wanted more but wasn’t quite sure how to take the next step. That’s when he joined our training and mentoring programme.
